Soooo…… it’s been quite a while since the last update.  For those of you who kept up during our last tour you know we had some tough trials to work through.  Venues and promotes not doing their part, then of course having our van broken into was quite the set back.  But many of you went above and beyond as fans and helped with some donations.  This allowed us to pick up a few necessities, such as tooth brushes, soap, cell phone chargers, clothes, etc.  So THANK YOU!!!  And besides, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, right?  That or we are just very stubborn!  Because we can’t wait to get out there and do it again.

This weekend we have two great shows going on.  First is Friday Dec 10th at The Elevens in Northampton, MA.  This is a MEAT FOR TEA (www.meatfortea.com) magazine release event, and we are very excited to be playing.  There will be Burlesque, short films and music.  21+, 9pm and only $7… come on out!

Then the next day, Sat Dec 11th, we are looking forward to returning to The Guru in Plymouth, MA.  21+, 8pm, and only $5 before 10PM!  It’s going to be great times.

As for past shows, we had a really great time opening up for Combichrist back on Nov 19th.  The other bands were great, we made some new friends, and of course, the fans ROCKED!  Photos will be uploaded shortly to the flickr site (www.flickr.com/photos/streakmusic).

So after what seemed like an endless string of disasters (promoters & venues totally dropping the ball, as well as getting our van broken into) we have pressed on to finish the tour. Last night was Alexandria VA, with Low on Sanity opening up. Great guys and glad we got to share the stage. From the venue we headed to some truck stop showers, then to the parking lot to get some sleep. I think I stopped txting with Mrs Streak a little after 6am. Then climbed out of the van around 9:30am. So got a few hrs. We grabbed a quick bite to eat at Denny’s, and now we are on the NJ turnpike. (click here for our location: http://myloc.me/bLL48).

Tonight is the Tuscan Cafe in Warwick NY. Its an earlier show, and all ages, so hoping for a good turn out. Then tomorrow in South Windsor CT. Where Mrs Streak (can’t wait for that!!!!) and friends will be meeting us.

So yup, title says it all. Our van got broken into and just about all of our non musical gear was ripped off. Two of us (myself included) only have the clothes we are currently wearing left. Its not so much the physical things that were taken, but the data and the memories that were on or attached to those items. I am typing this out on my phone, so more details will have to come later. Thank you very much to everyone who attended and/or donated for the Diabetes Benefit.  Also thank you to Eleanor Moyer from the Eternal Embrace Hope Foundation for all of her hard work putting this event together.  There was a total of $500 raised, and I am excited to report that because of you, Streak & Angela Dimock Photography raised $240 of that!  All money is being donated to Camp Care Free, which is a camp for diabetic children where they get to learn about diabetes and create friendships with other children suffering from the same disease.  Mrs Streak and I will be participating in a walk for diabetes in Sept, so if you missed donating (or are cool enough to donate again!), then there will be more details on that soon.  Thank you again!
