Download “The Beginnings…”

So while cleaning up the laptop I came across some older Streak demos and thought maybe some of you out there might be interested to hear them.  Below are demos from 2004, as well as demos of songs where the final versions ended up on “Break Away”.  You are free to download and distribute these as you wish, just please don’t sell them.  Hope you enjoy.

Need to have dedication... equipment... transportation... bla bla bla... you know, the usual stuff!]

Streak to host an episode of the Razor Blade Dance Floor!

YUP! Streak is honored to be one of the guest hosts hijacking episodes while ChromeSkinJesus is out banging his head and screaming like a banshee at a few kick ass concerts.  Our episode will be #111, which is to be aired on or about Sept 13th.  Duffman has #109 & Duruman with PlutoniumProduct has #110.  We are going to stay true to the RBDF theme and be playing some great, and hopefully new to you, industrial rock/metal and the like.  But as things go, I’m sure Paul and I will be chatting it up about all sorts of stuff.  We are not going to make this episode a total “love Streak fest” and this is not going to be one long Streak promo, that would be lame.  But I want to keep the community feeling going that CSJ and all of the RBDF podcast subscribers have done so well to create, so I wanted to toss this out there and hopefully get you involved… if there are any questions that you would like to ask Paul or myself, let us know and we’ll work on getting those answered during the show.  It can be anything really, Streak or non-Streak related.  Such as: how we set up the tour, what equipment is used to create the music or what we use to do the live shows, views on life, our favorite beer, whatever!  Be as creative as you would like.  I can’t promise we’ll answer anything or everything… but it doesn’t hurt to try :) Read on to find out how to submit your questions…

New Website Launched & New Shows

Today we launched the new website.  This new design will be easier for us to post to while out and about, and will hopefully keep you all updated a little better.  I want the site to be easy for you, the fans, to find out what is happening and I think this new design is a step in the right direction.  Plus I can never let anything sit for very long.  Still a bit of tweaking to be done but I hope you will like it!  www.StreakBand.net.  We also have new shows scheduled and each are listed in the TOUR section on the website.  The next one will be on Friday July 24th at the WWII Club in Northampton, MA.  It’s ALL AGES and tix are $8 in adv or $10 at the door.  Make sure to get your tix from us [email info@streakband.net], or tell them at the door you are there to see STREAK!

Tour Recap: Albany (Mechanicville), NY [June 13th] & Such

I believe we rolled into the Albany/Mechanicville area around 12pm on Saturday June 13th, at which time we pulled into the parking lot of Mr C’s Pub.  It was hard to tell from the outside what sort of adventures tonight’s show was going to bring us, so Jim went in to check it out.  But he was told they weren’t open yet so we hung out in the van.  Because we hadn’t spent enough time in there already…  Right around then we got a call from Mrs Streak saying that she and Paul’s Lady were about 40min out.  So in the mean time we decided to get the van washed and vacuumed out.  We were actually pretty good keeping the van clean.  Other than the usual dirt or dropped food bit or two it wasn’t really that bad.  So once the vacuuming was done I pulled up to the car wash… of which we were just a bit too tall for.  In fact we started to hit their low hanging sign.  You know, the one that says you have to fit under this sign to go through.  Yeah, oh well.  So we pulled out of there and headed across the street to another one.  This one was much taller and we had no problems.  Now the van was all nice and shiny again.  We then got a call from the girls that they had arrived in town and so we headed over to meet them.  I hadn’t seen Mrs Streak since last Saturday, so it was really, really awesome to have her there :) .  Sure, Paul and Jim are both nice and cuddly, but they just don’t quite feel the same… haha!  We then headed over to get some foodage at the local Chili’s.  It was a great last meal together before the final show of the tour.
