BEAT DIABETES BENEFIT

As some of you may or may not know, Mrs Streak has type 1 diabetes. It will be 16 years this year that she has had this devastating disease. Diabetes is a called the silent killer, yet more than 23 million children and adults suffer from this deadly disease. There is no known cure for Diabetes, but with your support we can fund programs that will provide education on fitness, nutrition and information about disease prevention. On Saturday May 8th our friend Eleanor Moyer from the Eternal Embrace Hope Foundation is putting together a “BEAT DIABETES BENEFIT“, happening from Noon – 7pm in Dover, NH. This is an ALL AGES event and tix are only $10. A potion of the proceeds will go to Camp Care Free,a camp for diabetic children. This is going to be a really fun event! Not only will Streak be playing, but Mrs Streak is going to be a key speaker as well as vending her photography. I hope ALL of you can join us on this day, but if not you can STILL donate by purchasing a ticket. Or you can donate via the Paypal button below. Every little bit helps!

We are playing tomorrow (Sat Feb 20th) at Wasteland in Pittsfield, MA. Forever Autumn is playing at 9pm, and Streak goes on at 10. It’s all ages and only $7! CD Baby to donate $1 for every CD sold

Starting on Monday, January 25th and continuing for two weeks, CDBaby will donate $1 for every CD sale, and $1 from every download sale over $8.99, to the American Red Cross and to Mercy Corps, a Portland-based relief organization with a large presence in Haiti. I am excited to announce that Jim D, guitarist for the Boston based band Lucretia’s Daggers, is now jamming on bass with STREAK! You should remember Jim from our TV DINNER TOUR. He stuck it out with us and ran the merch table, and now he’s gonna help rip it up on stage. Once he’s up to speed and we all feel that we’re ready to go we will schedule a show as celebration. I can’t wait!

Halloween Show – This weekend!!

Don’t forget that STREAK is playing The Boston Garage Bands “Halloween Hell Raiser Concert” this Saturday Oct 24th at The Raven, 258 Pleasant St. in Worcester, MA. There will be BGB give aways & a cash prize for the best costume. So don’t be boring… come dressed and ready to have an awesome time! Doors at 7pm, tickets are ONLY $5, and the show 21+. Set times are below and the party goes till 1:30am. This is gonna be a great night so don’t miss it because there won’t be another party like this till next year!!!
